CSP Global’s ABSN Curriculum
Spanning four semesters, our accelerated, 16-month ABSN program — with sites in St. Paul, Minnesota and Portland, Oregon — follows a blended learning model made up of comprehensive online coursework, hands-on preparation and real-world application.
The ABSN curriculum will not only provide a strong academic foundation, but you’ll also graduate prepared with the clinical preparedness needed to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN®) and become a practice-ready professional nurse. (Passing the NCLEX is a requirement for nursing licensure.)
Taught by highly experienced nursing faculty and clinical instructors, the courses and topics comprising our accelerated nursing curriculum provide exposure to concepts such as cultural diversity, spiritual care and ethics, nursing informatics, and evidence-based practice. The breadth and depth of our curriculum will prepare you to become a nurse leader who can perform effectively in today’s dynamic health care environment.

About Our Blended Learning Model
We want you to graduate from our ABSN program with a strong understanding of nursing content and a wealth of hands-on experience. To that end, we have designed our curriculum to include:
- Online coursework, which can be completed according to your schedule, provided you meet established deadlines.
- Skills labs, where you’ll practice nursing skills of increasing complexity and develop your clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Clinical learning experiences in a variety of modalities, an important part of a well-rounded nursing education.
In keeping with our emphasis on service, your clinical rotations will prepare you to care for the whole patient — in mind, body, and spirit — as well as to promote health, offer quality bedside care, and provide leadership, within health care organizations and in the broader community.
